Design and Implementation of a Correcting and Assessing Exams Intelligent System

The proposed project investigate an automatic assessment method for correcting and scoring student's answers including the essay answers. The correction process deals with the answer syntactically and semantically. The semantic correction is based on Supervised Machine Learning approach. While the syntax correction is based on two similarity algorithms. The first is the Cosine Similarity, and the second is the Levenshtein Similarity The proposed project's purpose is to provide a self-contained educational platform for students to practice on. Rather than only providing an auto-correction service for questions, it does also provide a variety of services that serve the same goal, in the form of a mobile app for the students for the sake of portability and easiness. A Website is also presented for the Teachers as platform for managing and controlling the learning and practicing process.
